...Air Koryo is the name of the national carrier of the Democratic Republic of Korea (better known as North Korea) and practically is the only transportation system available if you wish to visit, for business or leisure, this country unless you are ready to take a long trip on board of a not really confortable train from Beijing, China to Pyongyang. Air Koryo is a name adopted in recent years as in the past the carrier name was CAAK (Civic Aviation Association of Korea). New name but very old fleet composed by a vintage collection of Russian aircrafts. Four Ilyushin 62, two Tupolev 134, two Tupolev 154, two Ilyushin 18, eight Antonov 24. Their average age is around 30 years. ...i watched the phantom of the opera the night before i went to buy tickets for les mis. because i have suddenly caught a fever for watching operas, well.. maybe i should have let myself cool down a few days before watching another opera. well, the stage was a bit smaller than the phantom of the opera. but altogether, it was great. the story was a bit slow for a while, but i can guarantee that everyone will be grabbing their tissues when it ends. i know alll the people sitting the same row as i did, cried. even a 50 year old man from australia. his friend staying in london bought them the tickets and was sitting there enjoying. they were joking at the beginning of the opera, but soon..all the attention are in there. really a great show. buy the cd at the end of it....
