Where have the butterflies gone?

Advantages: It is a lovely walk
Disadvantages: There arent really any butterflies

The valley of the butterflies was a gorgeous place to go. It is very peaceful and tranquil, it is home to some beautiful waterfalls and other amazing sights. Unfortunately there arent really many butterflies there and they are trying to attract them back so they like all their visitors to be as quiet as possible so as not to disturb them. ...general i would recommend the valley just for the waterfall, we came home with some lovely photos. It can be a bit tricky to find and is quite out of the way so hiring a car would be very handy. All in all its a lovely place maybe a bit pricy for what you get, but is a must see! ...

The beautiful old town of Rhodes.

Advantages: The old perfectly marries the new
Disadvantages: quite a bit of walking if it is hot.

You can definatley make a complete day trip out of this place, and when you have completed your tour of the city itself and had your fill of good food and window shopping you can then adjourn to the old moat. Sandy and clean Pefkos beach.

Advantages: Clean goldan sandy beach and clear shallow water.
Disadvantages: gets very crowded

Faliraki water park--- ok for a small place

Advantages: The rides are good
Disadvantages: Not many rides, hilly

...second week in october. the water park was still open, thank god. For a holiday park this is pretty good, the slides are few in number but the thrills are pretty decent. We were there in late october so didnt have to queue, the park is very very hilly and i could imagine having the queue would probably make all that walking not worth it.
