Review of Sofitel Capsis Hotel, Rhodes by
lisapizza
Advantages: the weather
Disadvantages: everything
Trusting the Sofitel name, we booked and pre paid for 7 nights at the Sofitel Capsis Rhodes.
Upon arrival, we found that we had to make our own way to the room, bags in tow. When we entered the room we were surprised at how small it was. We are a family of four, (2 adults and 2 kids). The room consisted of 1 double sized bed (not even a queen), 1 single bed, and 1 fold away bed. There was literally no room to move. The room also contained a 12 inch ... ...be drinking anything.
The mini club they advertise on their web site, doesn't exist.
It also seemed as though the hotel was built on the wrong side of the island. The seas are very choppy, and the Sofitel Capsis (beach resort), doesn't have 'any' sun beds out on the beach. ...

Paleos Paradise
Review of Paleos Apartments, Rhodes by
laura4qt
Advantages: Great location, spacious, lovely setting
Disadvantages: Not enough utensils for self catering, excessive charge to check out after 12
Lovely apartments in an excellent location and run by a really sweet family. The rooms themselves were nice and spacious, and ours had a large balcony as well. The apartments are very close to the main road, and the passing cars could be heard from the balcony, but the rooms themselves are double glazed and therefore were nice and quiet. We had a great time here! We had a couple of hob rings and fridge, but there wasn't much in the way of cooking ... ...us, but cooking for a family would probably be a struggle. There was also quite a large charge to keep the room later than the midday check out (25 Euro - and nearly out of season, so not all the apartments were full). But still a great place to stay, with lovely food, pool and bar. The location was fab for getting into Rhodes Town as there was a bus stop across the road which takes you straight to the town centre in about 10-15 minutes for about ...

Atlantica Imperial Resort, Kolympia, Rhodes
Review of Atlantica Imperial Resort, Rhodes by
Helenofellon
Advantages: A stunning setting
Disadvantages: Entertainment
...Gold Holiday staying at the Atlantica Imperial Resort Hotel in Kolymbia Rhodes. This hotel is described as a 5 star Deluxe!
We arrived at 2am on a sunday morning and were greeted by smiling staff and a sparkling glass of champagne. Great start this hotel is going to be fantastic. A marble entrance with palm trees in the centre and a water fall. It looked wonderful. We were quickly shown to our rooms and our luggage was taken by a porter who did ... ...We had chosen to stay in superior rooms which were like small chalets comprising of a four poster bed, slippers, bathrobes, wine and fruit. We also had a marvellous sea view, which I never tired looking at. Unfortunately on entering our room the smell of smoke was over whelming, much like a stale ashtray. We decided to ride through the night and ask for a move the next morning. Unfortunately the smell was so strong I did not manage to sleep and felt ...

Beautiful, quiet surroundings
Review of Evi Studios, Rhodes by
lozzy_lou178
Advantages: Quiet, very close to the beach, good surroundings
Disadvantages: Pool was dirty
We visited Evi Studios, Rhodes in the resort of Pefkos during the October half term break. We stopped for one week and travelled with Airtours. Unfortunatley I cannot remeber how much we paid exactly, but it was definatley under £1000 for a family of four, 2 adults and 2 children.
We arrived at approximatley 01:00am and were showed to the room by the rep from the coach, as it wasn't a 24 hour reception.
THE ROOM
We were in a two bedroomed apartment ... ...in October.
THE COMPLEX
Evi Studios are set in beautiful grounds with many flower beds surrounding it and set amoungst the apartments. The backdrop to our apartments was the mountains so it was all very pretty! At the bottom of the complex, there is a small walkway and down a few steps to the beach. So in other words, you have private access to the beach, but unfortunatley the beach isn't private! From what I remember, the beach was set in a cove ...

Atlantica Princess - Rhodes
Review of Atlantica Princess Aparthotel, Rhodes by
ilusvm
Advantages: see summary in review
Disadvantages: see summary in review
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Atlantica Princess Hotel
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have just returned from two weeks staying at the Atlantica Princess in Rhodes and had such a wonderful time that I felt compelled to write this review. Rhodes is a Greek Island which is situated in the eastern Aegean Sea just 11 miles from the Turkish Coast (on clear days you get a magnificent view of Turkey).
Our choice of this hotel and destination was purely through last ... ...all inclusive package that the Atlantica Princess offered as it worked out at around £12 on top of half board per adult per day and £8 on top of half board per child per day which seemed reasonable given that we are more than capable of drinking enough to make that worth while!
We booked a family room (3 adults and one child) for the last two weeks of the summer holiday and by crossing over three days into term-time made a saving of £800 compared ...
