Advantages: Stunning Disadvantages: Easy to get lost
it was by bus and it was sunset. Fez is a medieval walled city and the road approach goes to the main wall gates. Set in the desert with the sun setting behind it and thousands of the bird which roost in the ancient walls swirling and calling around the city, it was an amazing sight. And once you're inside, it gets even better. The ancient part of the town is the medina, the old Arab quarter, which is both compelling and utterly confusing - get a guide if you can find a good one, cos you WILL get lost. Hamid pulled up at the end of a road near Sidi Ben Slimane, and we then walked for three or four ...

~It was Friday 17th of Febuary. Myself, my girlfriend and a couple of pals made our way to the 'FEZ' nightclub in Hull, owned by the 'PO NA NA' chain. The club night was called 'FULLY CHARGED' and is promoted by a friend of mine Neil(AKA DJ Euphoria). Booked to play that night was DJ Fergie, known to most clubbers as 'The Master of Hard House'.
~This was the third time he had been booked to play in Hull having previously failed to appear twice. Before he was due, he was playing a Valentines gig at 'Garlands' nightclub in Liverpool. For some reason, other than he was having a right good time, he diden't arrive at the FEZ.
~Fergie was the main reason why we went out that night, having looked forward to it for weeks. The other guest DJ, Alan Thomson(TRADE), ended up covering the rest of the night. He was equally 'avin it but diden ...
