There are 51 guest rooms in the hotel, which have recently been renovated in the Gustavian style with high class comfort. The outdoor attractions, nightlife, restaurants and major theatres, are all within walking distance of the hotel. The small lobby offers a comfortable area with leather seating. The traditional style lobby retains a unique feel. One almost can feel the centuries of history surrounding the property. The hotel has no restaurant of its own, just a breakfast room. But there are innumerable restaurants offering Swedish and international cuisine around the hotel.

Old part of city is "GamlaStan" (Old town) and it still got its original medieval street net from 13th century. Specially from "GamlaStan" you can found wonderful restaurants and bars and small gift and antique shops.
Stockholm is full of different museums. My favorite is Vasa Museum what is now with the reconstruction of the missing parts of the Vasa Ship. GO TO SEE BEFORE IS GONE!!!! (Ship was over 400 yr's old, if I remember right and smell in museum was...welll not nicest ever but ship was stunning...

Please don't let the cold put you off, as with the snow around, and with appropriate warm clothing, the city is just as amazing, and I would personally say that the snow adds a certain sparkle. You can go ice skating for free in Kungstradgarden, and rent skates for 10- which is around a pound. Or you can go skating on the various lakes, as Stockholm is on an archipelogo, in which all the lslands are linked with beautiful bridges.
Other areas to visit are GamlaStan which means "old town". This is a truly beautiful area. Lined with old buildings and small shops with crafts and antiques. Much appreciated by the middle-aged plus generations, but that doesn't stop younger generations from also enjoying it!

...I have yet to meet a person who goes to Stockholm to go shopping, but that does not mean that it is a boring place to shop. Quite on the contrary. Even though Stockholm is Sweden’s capital, shopping is not a particularly rushed experience and it is easy to ignore all the Stockholmers rushing around the way people tend to do in bigger cities. If in the town centre, the main shopping streets are Hamngatan and Drottninggatan. This area is where you can find the department stores, NK and Ahlens for example, shopping centres, for example Gallerian, and second hand clothing shops, for example UFF(excellent value).
For antique shops, second hand shops and boutiques, my suggestion would be to go to GamlaStan, the Old Town. It’s an island, easily accessible from Drottninggatan, and is full of small shops and also art galleries...
