Location - Ideally situated in the centre of benidorm, close to all bars and restaurants, but not to close, therefore no noise pollution late at night.
Rooms - Good sized rooms with plenty of storage space. Bath, shower, basin, toilet and b-day in bathroom. Good sized balcony with plenty of seating.
Food - Excellent choice, varies every night, chips and salad always available. Breakfasts always plenty of choice, bacon, eggs, sausages, beans, tomatoes, cereal, toast, fruit, tea, coffee and fruit juice.
Pool - 3 pools, plash pool for the kids, big main pool for all ages and another main pool with lanes for the more advanced swimmer. Always plenty of room for everyone in and around the pool area, with a sun terrace available for those who just want to sunbathe.
Staff - Always polite and friendly, nothing is ever too much trouble.
Kids club - Great kids club ran by Thomsons. Available 6 days a week, with various activities keeping the kids well entertained.
Entertainment - Staff provide the entertainment 7 days a week, they really put the hearts into it and out on a good show...the full monty is not to be missed!
This hotel has 12 floors, and it is not so bad being at the top as you have no noise from above and the lift is always empty when it eventually arrives, (i know, i was on the 12th floor).
My experience of this hotel was last year (2004) since which it has been refurbished. I believe it now has air conditioning, tv in all rooms, new bar and pool area and better lifts.

good review i have recenty been to the rio park yes it has been refurbished to a high standard and has an aditional 2 lifts which is an advantage !
