About me. Well, I'm 16 and I live in North-west England with my family. I've left High school and I loved English and got a GSCE grade B in it ;) I love to write, on the computer and on paper about anything and everything that interests me!

Ripley's Believe It Or Not! is situated on Blackpool's front where thousands of tourists come and visit all the time. Ripley's.. is a great place for a family, however some younger children may find some parts frightening. The prices arn't too good, but there acceptable. When me and my dad visited recently, I think it cost us just over £10, and I'm 16 so I'm not sure if they classed me as a child or an adult, but I would assume an adult. The whole place has a huge range of displays from all over the world, each with a lot of information concerning it which means you can read up on things that catch your eye - pretty much all of it! For example, one of the first displays in the place is a range of "freak animals" such as a sheep with 6 legs, a cow with 2 heads, things like this. In the same room, theres also a display of different people from centuarys ago, one including a man who had a candle at the tip of his head sprouting out of his skull... things like this.
Inside there are some wonderfull, strange and tottaly freaky things to be seen, something you liturally won't know whether to believe it or not.
In my opinion I thought it was quite good as a whole, it was lengthy and had a lot of information on everything. Pictures, displays and films are shown in most cases which make you understand what is being told to you. I enjoyed my time there, even though most of it was rather freaky; I would say the worst and freakiest thing in there was some ancient people shrinking a skull, which they even had a video for - grose!
On the way out theres also a shop where you can stop off and buy some random stuff from sweets and small practical jokes.
I would also say if you are at Blackpool and the weathers getting a little bad, this place is a good place to come because if you look at everything and take your time you could be in there for quite a bit and enjoy yourself!
Thank you for reading, Connor

What sort of items are actually housed in the museum? You said the prices aren't good but acceptable? Can you give an idea of the prices? You say pictures, displays and films but of what? Would be nice to have a bit more info to make a decision about whether to visit or not :)
