The kitchen, handed down in generations, offers a rich and varied typical range of the Amalfi Coast. In fact you will taste rich and tasty dishes in full harmony with the Mediterranea Diet with the fish that arrives cool each morning from the uncontaminated backdrops of the surrounding sea.
...How can I explain you Santa Margherita Ligure? You can find this city in the region of Liguria, close to Genova. It's not a big town, but it's a lovely place. When you see the town from the sea, it looks like a painting, because in the years nothing is changed. The town belong to the international jet set with others towns like: Porofino (very close to Santa Margherita Ligure), Capri, Amalfi, Taormina, Montecarlo, Porto Cervo, Porto Rotondo, Saint Tropez and more.
Santa Margherita Ligure is situated on the Levant Coast of the Liguria, at orients of the town you will find Portofino's Cape. Santa Margherita was built in the inner part of the Gulf of the Tigullio. The town is encircled from covered hills of Mediterranean vegetation and the coast is called the Coast of the Dolphins, that it joins the city to Portofino too...

...The Portofino Ristorante Pizzeria has a contemporary architecture, it's completely different from others Marrakech's restaurants. The owner is Italian and the chef too. He worked in Agadir before, at the Restaurent Rugantino. He moved with all is staff to Marrakech in October 2005. The chef told me, that for have a very crispy cooked pizza, you need a traditional wooden oven, and in this way, the oven comes from Modena. Modena is not only Ferrari's city ;-D.
This restaurant is situated close at the Koutoubia and a few minutes by foot from the J. Fna square. Portofino is beautiful and the service of the waiters very good. Unfortunatly they have some problems with the English, but the manager speaks a fluent English because he worked in the Usa.
If you don't want eat a pizza....no problem, you can choose between spaghetti, penne...

...I travel a lot around Italy for work, and I am in the lucky enough position to visit quite a few restaurants.
Albergo RistoranteAl Sole is one of my favourites when in Bergamo.
Below is the address.
Via Mazzini, 54 - 24047 - Treviglio - (Bergamo) - Italy
Tel. 0363/49161
The restaurant is run by the family Giussani.
As a starter, I would recommend "insalata tiepida di polipo" or "ostriche e cappesante" or "antipasto misto di pesce della casa" (mixed fish starter of the house).
For the first course, my favourites are "tagliolini all'astice" or "tagliatelle con polpa di granchio" (this is a kind of thin pasta with crabs".
For the second course, ask for the fish of the day, which is really fresh.
To finish everything, try "sorbetto al limone" or one othe hand made cakes, the one with blackberries is greaaaaaaaaaat!!
The wine list...

The reason as to why I bought my PSP was simple; I wanted to play a game that I was simply addicted to when I used to go to the arcades when I was on a family holiday at the seaside. The game was Out Run and was originally released back in 1986, the... more
I don't mind admitting that I love this country of ours, and one of the things I love most is the spectacular coastline that we are blessed with. It is no surprise then that when the Beeb produced the first series of Coast I was an ardent viewer.
