we have just spent a fantastic 2 weeks at the Riu hotel in Aruba, When we arrived the porters had our luggage of the bus and straight up to our room, we checked in and were given cocktails to take to our room with us. the room was lovely. Very spacious, 2 king size beds, seating area with table and chairs and a large en-suite bathroom, there was also a mini bar in each room. the room also had a balcony with pool and beach views.the food in the hotel was great, with plenty of choice every night. there was a main buffet restaurant, a steak house, an italian, a japanese and a fusion/a la carte restaurant. All were included in the hotels all inclusive deal. the buffet restaurant had a different theme every night. the entertainment wasquite good although could have been more varied and less dancers. they were on 6 times in the fortnight. there were plenty of bars to choose from and the sports bar was open 24hrs.the hotel also offerd room service. the hotel in located right on the beach and is also only a 5 minute walk from the nearest town, which has a busy nightlife. there is also a bus from outside the hotel running to the capital every 20 minutes.i would recommend this hotel for both couples and familys as there is always something to do and the hotel has plenty of day entertainments. the staff in the hotel were very friendly and always there to help. i will definately stay here again when ever i am in aruba
