...The Riverside Court Hotel is situated just outside Sheffield City Centre within a few minutes walk of the main markets and one of the main Shopping areas of the City. It occupies a prominent position on the corner of Nursery Street, where it meets the Wicker. Historically the Wicker is an area of the City that was once a thriving part of Sheffield with lots of Shops and Businesses. Today it is rather run down, although improvements are currently underway, and most of the businesses in this area are now take aways and other fast food outlets. The Riverside Court Hotel actually occupies quite an enviable location at the top end of the Wicker. It sits on Lady's Bridge next to the Exchange Brewery Works with views overlooking the River Don and the new Apartment Blocks on the opposite banks of this River. Lady's Bridge was built... ...We stayed at the Maple Court for two nights at the end of October The location was fantastic - a nice 5-10 minute walk from downtown Inverness, along the river Ness. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance The room is large, and very clean. The furnishings are a bit cheap, and the bed is just okay. Sheets and towels were clean and average. The bathroom was very clean. The staff were great, and the morning breakfast was great. The chef will make you whatever you\'d like for breakfast. The food was wonderful with brilliant portions. Everything was fresh and prepared beautifully. The bacon and egg scrambles and salmon crepes were terrific. Gardens and river setting is just out of this world. I would stay there again.... ...cedar court hotel is one of the only hotels in huddersfield. it is about half an hour out of the town centre, with really good access to the motorway. pretty close to brighouse, huddersfield and easy to get to leeds and along that way too. it has wireless internet, reasonable prices with regards to rooms, pretty good food, especially the breakfast and is ideal for anyone on business trips. the bar prices are expensive, but not compared to otherhotels, so its as you would expect really. the rooms and lobby etc, can look a bit grotty sometimes, and the hotel does need refurbishing (it hasnt been done for years!) but if all you need is somewhere convenient with decent rooms and nice food, then its perfect!...
