Advantages: centrally located, cheap, convenient Disadvantages: a quality 5* hotel this aint
...We had a bank holiday last week and assuming that it would be more dead than a Sunday (and believe me, a typical Sunday here is taking some getting used to after 20 years of Sundays in England) I decided to do the sensible thing and go away for a few days to a country that, erm, wasn’t having a bank holiday. I looked at a map, saw a country that lay almost directly west of here and it was decided. Off to Luxembourg to, in Muffin’s words, stare at some Luxembourgians.
Despite the low prices, youth hostels just don’t appeal to me most of the time, so I took to the net to look for a hotel and about half an hour later had found one, checked availability and handed over my credit card number.
*** Getting There

Advantages: Lot's to do and see, great nightlife, fine dining and wine tasting. Disadvantages: Can be expensive if not careful
...enjoy eating in different places then you will love the vibrant cafes and restaurants near the river in an area called the Grund that you can get to via a lift that will take you downwards past the old rock. If you can't afford to stay in a luxury hotel then there are plenty of youth hostels and from what I've heard they are very nice to stay in even though they might not be luxurious. Plus they are a lot cheaper so if you can live without the luxury of a posh hotel then you will enjoy a night in a youth hostel.
Whilst in Luxembourg you won't want to miss sampling the food. You could work up an appetite by rock climbing or water sports. Luxembourg has plenty of restaurants and food places you can even dine al fresco in Luxembourg.
Treat yourself to the food at one of the cafes and you will be able to indulge in many tempting treats...

Advantages: pretty;inner rooms quiet;nice to have breakfast in the room Disadvantages: room quality varies;outer rooms can be noisy
...I recently visited Paris staying here a second time, so it merits a qualified recommendation.
http://hotel-luxembourg.com on rue Vaugirard near the Parc du Luxembourg
between the 5th and 6th arrondisements, with no special views.
As advertised this is indeed a romantic hotel with small but pretty rooms
and a very small but charming breakfast room in the ancient cellar. Reception speaks English, French and German and responds to email queries.
It's walking distance to restaurants, the park, and Notre Dame, although
a bus is recommended for the Louvre and metro for farther sites.
Since my last visit I've learnt to avoid taxis.
Getting there.

My impressions of this game when I saw it advertised on the internet was that it looked like a completely different type of game that I'm used to seeing for the DS.
