Historical site right in the city of Manila

Advantages: Easy to locate, educational and free
Disadvantages: Open field and far parking place

...ago, it was renamed as Rizal Park; at of the present time, this park is now called the Luneta Park. This is where the Philippine's National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal"s monument was. This monument is being guarded by 2 cadets in shifting day and night, who marches and checks around the monument intervally and alternately. RENAISSANCE HOTEL - LOCATION AT ITS BEST

Advantages: Prime location - near malls and within the financial district
Disadvantages: none

very easy to hail one but stay clear of the rush hours between 12 nn ? 2 pm and 5pm ? 7 pm. Morning is okay since most of the people are on their way to Makati. Have I mentioned that Makati is the financial and business hub of Metro Manila that is why it is always very busy? If one gets tired of Makati, there is Fort Bonifacio, a huge expanse of prime property which boasts of high class eateries and shops. For the bargain-hunter, just across is Market!Market!, another shopping area which mostly caters to the B and C markets. Since the hotel is within the Central Business District, it is quite near the important places in Manila. The airport is only about 30 minutes away so is Rizal Park (the biggest park in the Philippines), Manila Oceanarium, the historical ruins of the walled city of Intramuros, Coconut Palace which showcases ...

Review of Renaissance Hotel Makati, Manila

Manila Ocean Park - my wonderful oceanarium experience

Advantages: eye candy
Disadvantages: you can't bring a camera with flash inside the oceanarium - it will scare the fishes away!

Manila Ocean Park (MOP) is a state-of-the-art oceanarium, open water marine habitat, boutique mall, hotel, restaurant row and function facilities all located in one complex. It is located at the back of Quirino Grandstand and near Rizal Park - the most historic place in the Philippines. It is strategically located in Manila Bay - the perfect place in the Philippines for the most romantic sunset. It is just around 30 minutes away from Ninoy Aquino International Airport. It is owned by China Oceanis Philippines Inc., which also owns the Ocean Park Hong Kong. MOP's oceanarium had its soft opening on March 01, 2008. Soon to open are the marine-themed mall and the H20 hotel, theme park, outdoor pools and restaurants. Because of it's many features aside from the oceanarium itself, it is larger than the Sentosa Underwater World ...
