We stayed here for two weeks apart from a few days in the middle of our stay when we travelled up to kuala lumpar. It is a lovly little hotel in a great location. The breakfasts arnt great but they were ok for the price, if you want something nicer then there is a shopping mall just over the road with some food places in them but they are a bit more expensive than the hotel. It is situated right next to the newly developed clarke quay which is great for shopping and resturants. You are close to a mrt station but we just used taxis as they are so cheap and very reliable, also a taxi rank is very close to the hotel or they will call one if you want. The home beach bar is outside and is the hotels only bar but it is set right on the singapore river and they provide you with comfy deck chairs and tables, they also serve food. When at the bar there is never any reason to get up, they come and take your order and bring your drinks and food to you, you pay your whole bill as you leave, the staff are also very friendly. The view from the bar at night is unbelievable! it looks out onto the city which is all light up at night. You also get this view if you are staying on the right side of the hotel. The view truely is amazing! It has got a very small outside pool and a few sun beds, also 2 jacuzzis and a small gym. This is a lovly hotel and i would recomend it to anyone, infact i recomended it to a family member of mine and he stayed there and really liked it, the next time he went to singapore he stayed somewhere different and spent his hole holiday wishing he hadnt.
Advantages: Great location, good facilities and service; and comfortable rooms! Disadvantages: A bit of a walk to the closest MRT (City Hall)
Centrally loacted, the hotel is very close to numerous recreational and commercial places. In fact, Pan Pacific Singapore is within walking distance of many of Singapore's historic landmarks, such as the Padang, stage to some of the most significant national events, the Cenotaph and the commemorative landing site of Sir Stamford Raffles - founder of modern Singapore. It is also close to Singapore's historic, cultural and entertainment areas, such as CHIJMES, the Boat Quay, Clarke Quay, Robertson Walk and the new Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay. The hotel is also connected to Millenia Walk and Suntec City shopping complexes.
You must try the Hai Tien Lo for exquisite Cantonese, Keyaki Japanese restaurant for authentic Japanese food. Its amazing!!
