*Cadaques:Cadaques lies only 12 miles south of the French frontier.It is a little fishing town set in one of the Costa Brava`s most rugged little bays.The village`s white painted houses with their flowers and iron-work are extremely picturesque.Large olive groves grow on the steep hills surrounding the village,and the coast on either side contains many lovely small bays,though most have stony beaches.Cadaques became well known to artists of many nations because of its beauty and its exceptionally clear light.
