The Rock n Roller Coaster, in Disneyland Paris, located in Walt Disney Studios is one of the fastest roller coasters at DisneylandParis and has such a great personality. The roller coaster is based around the rock band, "Aerosmith". The roller coaster is called "Rock n Roller Coaster Avec Aerosmith".
It is located near the entrance to the Disneyland Paris entrance, near Disney Village which is a small village based on Disney, different characters. The ride is on the other side of the entrance, in the Walt Disney Studio. A map can be picked up for directions
to this ride, and other rides.
Entry to Disneyland varies, but the price for a child's day entry to Disneyland Paris, or Walt Disney Studios is €25. I think the price is worth it, but if you are after a day full of rides, you are better of going to the main Disneyland Paris park, not the Walt Disney Studios, as there as around ten times as many rides. The Walt Disney Studios is features on film making, and stunt shows, and film and music rides.
The ride is so good. But anyone can say a ride is good, but let me tell you why. As you enter , you can see a massive electrifying picture of a roller coaster (as shown in the picture) and yes, it is really like that on the ride. The queue line is long, this is because it is a very popular ride, and people tend to go on it continuously (like we did). But if you get to the ride in the morning, the first hour of Walt Disney Studios being open the ride has around a 1 minute waiting time to get on this amazing ride. We did this in the morning, but I wouldn't eat too much breakfast as this roller coaster is probably one on wildest you have ever seen. While waiting for the ride, and walking to the ride you are presented with fantastic authentic music membrobelia. This included signed electric guitars, limited edition instruments and signed autographs. These are shown on the walls in presentation cases. You will find that alot of people take pictures of these as they are very rare, or look amazing. When you go into another section to line up for the ride, album posters are all over the walls from "Rolling Stones" to popular artists today. The building to queue up is just amazing and filled with fantastic things to feast your eyes on. On the walls near the next queing section is a door where a very realistic video on a large screen is shown, behind a recording studio set, which looks real. Aerosmith talk to the audience before they go on the ride. People tend to take pictures of this too. Once the doors open, you're away. You are one minute away from being on one of the wildest roller coasters.
While exiting the recording studio door, you will be presented with the start of the ride. A big wide tall screen which is shown with a countdown as the ride sets-off. The bright orange numbers are shown "3" "2" "1". The coaster sets off through a tunnel, where your photograph is taken, for you to purchase after if you wish. The ride goes from 0 - 70mph in under than 2 seconds. This is sure to show a funny ride photo as you exit the ride.
While on the rollercoaster, you are faced with loops, corkscrews and amazing lighting as you travel on the coaster. If you have a problem with looking at bright lights then you may suffer by going on the coaster. It lasts around 2 minutes, but will feel differently when on the ride. You will hear loud music of Aerosmith's famous songs like "Dude Looks Like A Lady", and "Walk This Way". You will probably hear people screamsing as you go on sudden twists and turns. The ride slows down toward the end.
You can buy your photo at the end of the ride once you have got out of the coaster. You do not have to buy your photo - but they are normally very funny looking at yourself while going 70mph. Meters away from this point you are taken back outside into the Disney Studio's. You can go on the ride as many times as you like.
To go on this ride, you must be 121cm in height. This is the best roller coaster I have been on. I have included a YouTube link of the coaster, and some footage taken on the ride.
I would definatly go on this ride again, so much I would pay just to go on this ride. It is just an amazing experience. Once you have been on it once, you will want to go on it again and again, even if you don't like roller coasters, or found yourself screaming non-stop on the ride. You will feel very proud of yourself for going on this ride.
