When I visited Walt Disney World in Florida one of my favourite rides was the Rock'n'Rollercoaster featuring Aerosmith and when my partner said that the ride was even better in Disneyland Paris I just had to see for myself and yes he was right.
*~*Location of the Ride*~* The rollercoaster is located in the Walt Disney Studios Park which is next to the original Disneyland Park located in Marne La Vallee, Paris. As you enter the park you will clearly see a large bill board displaying the sign Rock 'n' Rollercoaster avec Aerosmith which when you translate in English this is Rock 'n' Rollercoaster with Aerosmith.
*~*Queuing for the Ride*~* The queue as far as I can remember is exactly the same as the ride in MGM Hollywood Studios Park in Florida that is mainly outside and the shorter part of the queue is inside a fictional recording studio.
As you enter the recording studios behind the glass you can see signed album sleeves, drum kits, guitars and outfits from tours, whether these are a genuine replica who knows but as it is Disney I would be pretty sure that these are the real thing. This area passes the time in the constantly moving queue before leading you through a turnstile into a corridor to enter the recording studio itself. The corridor is split into two and the left queue will take you to the top of the studio and the right hand queue will take you to the bottom half of the queue but either queue will get you into the studio at the same time.
As the light goes green the doors open and you can enter the studio, once everyone is in the doors are closed and the recording kicks in and Aerosmith can be seen behind the screen in front of you, Steve Tyler leads the band members into the room describing the ride that he has just been on and how amazing it is and once he has finished his little speech the doors open and you head out towards the ride which is set in the backyard area, the queue takes you in an "L" shape towards the loading bay where a crew member directs you to your loading bay to board the limousine style carriages that seat 28 riders.
*~*The Ride*~* It is two people per carriage and at two it is a tight squeeze as you step onto the ride you are sat very low down and there is very little room for those that are very tall. An overhead restraint secures you into the ride and compared to rides built in a similar way this one is actually quite comfortable to ride as once you get going your body just sticks to the seat there is very little turbulence.
Once you are seated and your baggage stowed on the floor by your feet the ride moves to the launch station and a screen flickers on to the left hand side counting down until your ride leaves the station, for me this really got the adrenaline going as you know that you are just going to be launched at a ridiculous speed and that you are really going to get the ride of your life!
On our first ride we were lucky to get right to the front, however after riding several times I would definitely recommend the middle of the carriages is the best location for a more thrilling ride.
As the ride launches you the music from Aerosmith kicks into the speakers located in the headrest of each individual riders seat and its great that it plays the tunes that are well known it makes the ride that bit more enjoyable in my opinion.
The ride then becomes a faster version of the Black Hole rollercoaster that used to be in Alton Towers with twists and turns so fast that the lights blind you as you fly past, the main difference with this ride is that there are loops and they are so powerful there is no chance of your bag falling from the floor or your glasses shooting off, I know because I had both!!
Despite the ride being so fast and powerful it was a smooth ride throughout and a true exhilarating experience with a fantastic atmosphere everyone is upbeat on the ride and I would be surprised if anyone left the ride without enjoying it.

This ride made me sick and caused a major migraine. I was s**t scared all the way through. The kids loved it and went straight on again! Not for me! Lisa x
