Advantages: Location, Price, Breakfast, TV, Walking Distance to Train Station Disadvantages: Comfort of Beds, Cold Floors, Security
...was that the matresses were slighly lumpy and when I got up in the middle of the night the floors were absolutely freezing. A worry I had was that the main door had no lock and anybody could walk in and the only thing stopping people from getting into the room was a fairly flimsy lock.
In terms of location, the hotel was in a excellent place. It was not in the centre of Rome with all the noise it was about 15 minutes walk from the forum and colliseum, so that was excellent.
In conclusion, this hotel was excellent value for money, I would advise it for anybody staying for four nights or less, as the beds are a little uncomfortable. But this hotel was brilliant for what I wanted and I would stay there again if I revisited Rome....

Advantages: All the beauty and magic of Rome Disadvantages: None
...Rome must be the most beautiful city in the whole world. Full of magical sights, history, art culture and beautiful guys. Cosidering its image of being the Catholic Capital of the world, Rome has an interesting and diverse gay culture. Newcomers might find this gay culture an inaccessible world given Italian Mens difficulty in accepting the homosexuality, however it is there and certainly worth seeking out.

The hotel is camp in its decor and worth staying in.
In terms of clubs I particularly liked...

...I stayed in the Hotel Michelangelo while on a work trip to Rome in December 2007 and i can't fault the hotel. We were holding a conference in their meeting rooms and they were nothing short of amazing in terms of helping us plan the event.
As a place to stay, the hotel was perfect. The bedrooms were really large. I had a twin room to myself and it was massive. i'm not sure how much we paid for the rooms, but as a charity, i know it wouldn't have been over the odds, so i think it was excellent value for money and helped make our conference such a success. The breakfasts were brilliant and plentiful and the buffet lunch we had was great.
The hotel is in the perfect spot for sightseeing in Rome. We arrived late at night, but headed straight out to explore the city - easy to do with such a perfect location right next to St Peter...

Amazing position. Its only a few meters away from piazza di Spagna - perhaps Italy's most famous piazza. Girls will love visiting the numerous boutiques of via Condotti. Its strategic position makes it the perfect accommodation if in Rome for the first... more
