Advantages: Good food & excellent Matterhorn views Disadvantages: Swimming pool is freezing & swimwear is optional in the sauna!
...I stayed at this hotel in May 2006, whilst 6 months pregnant! It was fantastic! Zermatt is a car free zone so you have to park your car at the large car park outside Zermatt & catch the train. The short train journey will then arrive at the train station where you can pick up a free transfer from the hotels electric powered mini bus. We just walked which was about 10/15mins as it's at the opposite end of the resort. The hotel is beautifully furnished with pine clad on the walls & ceilings in the rooms. You must ask for a Matterhorn view, it will just make your holiday to wake up every morning & see the mountain from your bed. Our room was on the top floor so we had velux windows to really maximise the views. We stayed on a half board & you get a set menu with 2/3 choices. Being pregnant I was limited to what I could eat...

The holiday fever took us by storm and we danced, drank, laughed and had wild relationships...

...There are two Sofitel hotels in Berlin, and this review is for the Dorint Sofitel Schweizerhof, not the Dorint Sofitel am Gendarmenmarkt. Both are part of the Accor hotel chain.
~~~ Location and Getting There ~~~
The Schweizerhof can be found on Budapester Straße. It is extremely well located, being between the Tiergarten (south-west corner of the park), the zoo and aquarium, the Europa Centre and the shops on Kurfurstendamm. The nearest station is Zoologischer Garten (800m distance), or it is an easy cab ride from Tegel Airport (8km) or Tempelhof Airport (10km). There is a bus stop right outside the hotel for route 200, with other routes nearby. There are usually cabs waiting outside the hotel and there is a car park under the hotel (which isn't too cheap - about €18 per day).
~~~ Reception ~~~
As you enter through the revolving...

My impressions of this game when I saw it advertised on the internet was that it looked like a completely different type of game that I'm used to seeing for the DS.

I lived in New York City for a few years, but had little experience of its hotels until after I'd moved away. My husband and I stayed in the Library Hotel in late August of 2004 for two nights. After spending a few nights in one of its sister hotels the... more
