Myself, my partner and my teenage son paid a visit to this restaurant for my partner's birthday. It was relatively easy to get a table (although I did book 3 months in advance!). I needed to extend the booking to include my son and they were very pleased to do so. ...the crispy duck was indeed crispy - bordering on rock hard! The main courses were mouth watering (although they do not come with vegetables and we were not asked if we wanted them at the time of ordering!) Disadvantages: a bit pricey but worth it

We stayed for a long weekend in May. The hotel is a beautiful old building which goes back to about about 1850 . Its been completely renovated and has all the mod cons that you would expect in a 4 star hotel. The bedrooms are lovely. We had a double and the bed was extremely comfortable.
