So many might be put off because it is a chain hotel however positioning of this hotel is perfect. Just a few streets away you will find yourself in the Vatican City. It is literally across the road from the Termini station which is its only plus point. On arrival we went into reception and were given a room on the 4th floor. the hotel has one lift which you can see down the lift shaft - not great! Our room was 9 foot long by 8 foot wide. I stayed in the Hotel Michelangelo while on a work trip to Rome in December 2007 and i can't fault the hotel. We were holding a conference in their meeting rooms and they were nothing short of amazing in terms of helping us plan the event. As a place to stay, the hotel was perfect. We booked Hotel Boscolo online through Expedia.com and got a really good last minute deal. We drove there- it was quite difficult to find down a small street and we had to pay for valet parking as you may expect in central Rome but the concierge were really friendly and helpful as were the reception staff- we booked a double room but were upgraded as they had space which was a nice touch.
