My most favourite Restaurant EVER!
Advantages: The Best Food in Rome
Disadvantages: Hard to get a table
The 2 times I have been to Rome I have been to this Restaurant and had the nicest food ever.
Its located at Via Del Pantheon 55 which right by the Pantheon, just up a side street.
Its best to book or to arrive very early as its very popular. As you enter you see pictures all over the walls of politicians from all over the world. They are all accompanied by the owner of the restaurant who is also always there every night in his same little outfit. ...
...we arrived just as it opened at 7.30pm and were lucky to get a table.
The staff are extremely helpful and polite. They have the menu in many languages so the only problem in ordering is choosing what to order as there is so much!
This is where i first discovered Buffalo Mozarella - mmm yum... they way they put this together is awesome. I've also had the gnocchi - of which Im not normally a fan, but this stuff just melts in your mouth. The chicken ...

So that's what a pizza should look like....
Advantages: The best Pizza in Rome, in Italy? In the world?
Disadvantages: You "WILL" have to queue, but it's all part of the fun, Cash only
...few yards away from Pizzeria Da Baffetto.
We were quite excited to go there, we were in Rome and we were going to the best Pizzeria in Rome.
After a short walk through the narrow streets, we arrive in front of a small pizzeria, looking quite poor really. If it was not for the 20 people queuing in front of the door in winter, I would never have believed that was it…
But yes, it was. This small place just bigger than my local kebab shop, was it! ...
...The queuing wasn't a negative point as such. Of course we were hungry, and it was cold outside, but it was actually quite fun. You get to chat with Local and other tourists, and whatever your colour, your religion or which Football club you support, there was no bad feeling, as we were all waiting for the same thing. PIZZA.
So before going in, here are some basic rules for the queuing at Baffetto:
1. You can not avoid it. Tey don't take reservation. ...
