...Absolutely beautiful street in Belgrade, one that should certainly be visited on any trip to the city. This is a bit of a no-brainer as it's unlikely anyone spending more than an hour in Belgrade -won't- find themselves on it! It starts near Kalmegdan park, then runs through to Instituto Cervantes.
While there are numerous shops, bookstores, and larger department stores (larger ones away from Kalmegdan) the nicest part of this parade, to me, are the cafes and restaurants, which really show how Belgraders live and socialize. Even if you're not shopping, there's lots of pretty buildings and a monument or two. Also one of the few places a tourist can find some postcards (razglednica in Serbian), that's my top tip!
At night, this is a must-see, where half the city's population go for a stroll or grab a quick drink or bite to eat...
