Theatre in Newcastle

Advantages: Lots of shows
Disadvantages: Not a lot

, and the theatre is close to lots of restaurants and bars, in particular China Town. ADDRESS AND CONTACT DETAILS... Westgate Road Newcastle upon Tyne TYNE AND WEAR NE1 4AG Tel: 0844 493 9999 Fax: +44 01912 431170 VERDICT... This is one of my favourite out of the theatres I have been to, and really gives a sense of old style opulence and charm. There are lots of different shows on and usually i can find something I want to see a few times a year. It seems smaller than alot of theatres I have been to so although it is still elegant although a bit shabbily so, it has an air of cosiness and there aren?t too many stairs or chances to get lost. The staff are friendly and efficient, the theatre is clean and has sufficient bars and toilets to ensure everyone is watered during the interval. One of the good things about the theatre is ...

MALMAISON NEWCASTLE - LE PETITE SPA

Advantages: Far too many to mention here!
Disadvantages: None, only that I would have likes to set up camp there!

***This is a review only of the Spa facilities at Malmaison Newcastle, which can be used by hotel guests or visitors. As we did not stay overnight here, I cannot comment on the rest of the hotel, though everything we say and experienced was exquisite, and I would definately stay at one of their sister hotels if I am travelling away from Newcastle*** Having recently suffered from a bout of depression that left me feeling pretty rough, I decided to treat myself and my best friend to an afternoon being pampered at Newcastle's Malmaison. Their Petite Spa had just been refurbished, and so I decided this was the place to go. My friend flew up from London and we had lunch on Newcastle's Quay-Side, visited The Baltic Art Gallery, and headed over to Malmaison for our 5pm appointment. There are lots of treatments to choose from, ranging ...

George Hotel in Newcastle - Good value for money & great service

Advantages: close to newcastle city centre, well priced, great service, clean
Disadvantages: none

I think The George Hotel is one of the best budget hotels in Newcastle upon Tyne to explore the city. I stayed there a few times, always received excellent service, a nice breakfast and the room prices are reasonable. Facilities are clean, well looked after, the hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. Secure parking and fast wireless internet available. The location of the hotel (Jesmond) is perfect to reach Newcastle city center. There are many shops and restaurants nearby with long opening hours and public transport (bus, metro and a taxi rank) is literally at your doorstep. Rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel recently undertaken a major refurbishment so many rooms are newly decorated and furnished as I heard from the owner during my last stay. I can only recommend George Hotel in Newcastle. Check out the hotels new ...
