I visited Rowhill Grange on a Pamper Day and stayed overnight. It was fantastic.
My friend and I went one Thursday afternoon and stepped into a tranquil, relaxing and stress free world.
It is situated in a secluded setting but is only 5 minutes from the M25 and M20 junction 3. As you drive into Hextable, there is a little turning signposted Rowhill Grange and this takes you up a winding drive way. I could feel the stresses of every day life float away as drove up. I couldn't wait.
My friend's husband and mine had booked us in for a Spa Escape (a one night stay which included a three course dinner, full use of the Utopia Spa facilities including exercise classes, and English Breakfast) - pure self dulgence - what a treat (mind you we deserved it!).
On arrival we were shown to our room - which was really lovely and relaxing ( just what you would expect of a four star hotel). We had a glass of wine and got ready for our first pampering session (soft robes and slippers provided of course).
As we came down from our room we entered the treatment area. Soft music and a tranquil atmosphere greeted us. I was booked in for an Utopia Face and Body Revitalistion Treatment for 85 minutes - it was out of this world. I wanted it to never end. Sadly, and too soon, it did.
We then got ready and went downstairs to the Truffles restaurant where we were served an exquisite meal. Fully fed we retired upstairs for a restful night's sleep.
In the morning it was back down to the restaurant for an English breakfast. How wonderful sitting at the table in a fluffy robe!!!!!
After a terrific breakfast it was down to the Spa - heaven! It had everything - a 10 meter therapy pool with two different high pressure showers; underwater massage bed and a therapeutic waterfall - not to mention the swimming pool, sauna and steam room. It was out of this world. I was born to live here - sadly can't afford to!!!!!
After spending most of the day here we showered in the spa shower area where everything from body wash to shampoo and conditioner was supplied from their Utopia range and went up for our pedicure and manicures.
We ended our wonderful break with coffee on the sun terrace and then sadly had to leave this wonderful, relaxing place to go back to the bedlam of one husband and two kids.
The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. I couldn't fault anyone or anything.
At about £240 each (that included our overnight stay, massage, manicure, dinner and breakfast and full use of the Spa), it was an expensive break away but one that was worth every penny. I had not felt this relaxed since having my two children. It was a completely relaxing, peaceful and pure self indulgent time. I am looking forward to the next time my husband wants to treat me. This would do it for me every time!
I would highly recommend to anyone to come here.
