What a wonderful place to go.
I visited RowhillGrange on a Pamper Day and stayed overnight.
It was fantastic.
My friend and I went one Thursday afternoon and stepped into a tranquil, relaxing and stress free world.
It is situated in a secluded setting but is only 5 minutes from the M25 and M20 junction 3. As you drive into Hextable, there is a little turning signposted RowhillGrange and this takes you up a winding drive way. I could feel the stresses of every day life float away as drove up. I couldn't wait.
My friend's husband and mine had booked us in for a Spa Escape (a one night stay which included a three course dinner, full use of the UtopiaSpa facilities including exercise classes, and English Breakfast) - pure self dulgence - what a treat (mind you we deserved it!).
On arrival we were shown to our room ...
The hotel was offering some special offers last month so me and my boyfriend decided to stay there for the weekend when visiting London. It has an ideal location. We went down by train and it's only about 15 minutes walk from Euston station, or a few bus stops away. We arrived early so we left our luggage and was told to get back after 2. The lobby is not huge but nicely decorated. There is an Egyptian sculpture next to the lift, kind of like a replica of those you see in museum, quite special.
Again I have to praise its location. It didnot take us long before we reached New Oxford street by foot. Bear in mind it was January when the sale was still going on-I could start my shopping straightaway. We got back after lunch and the room was ready. It's a double room with a king size bed. The room is quite spacious with a plasma TV ...
Advantages: Amazing, all round Disadvantages: None!
and an M&S Simply Food - a really good choice right on the doorstep.
The facilities in the hotel are similarly good. We had a drink in the smaller bar after returning fromt he theatre, and the range of drinks was excellent. There was a good and not ridiculously overpriced room service menu, although we didn't sample it. The minibar in the rooms is well-stocked if a little pricey. When we stayed the hotel's facilities weren't fully complete such as the pool and spa - but I suspect this is why we got such a bargain. We didn't eat in the hotel as our budget didn't allow for it, but we could see breakfast service from our room and it looked very nice!
The service in the hotel was second to none. The staff couldn't do enough for us. The smaller details in the service really made our stay an excellent one. The porters were always ready to help ...
