Advantages: tasty, reasonable Disadvantages: exterior, a cracked plate, only in Manchester, limited menu if you do not like pancakes
Pancakes in this country seem to be very much a neglected food only eaten once a year on Shrove Tuesday. I have always loved them and have fond memories of the Scottish chain of restaurants the Pancake Place. My partner Duskman is a very fussy eater so eating out can be a nightmare, as he does not like anything too spicy. Thus there are only a handful of cuisines he will eat. Luckily when I am sick of Italian or good old pub food there is an alternative in Manchester; namely whopping great pancakes at decent prices from the Dutch Pancakehouse in Manchester?s City Centre.
The location of the restaurant is very accessible being on the corner of Oxford Street and St Peter?s Square, opposite the tram stop and Central Library and only a few minutes walk from Piccadilly Gardens.
I think one of the biggest problems with the restaurant is ...

The original oak no longer survives but its descendant does, and saplings with a Certificate of Authenticity can be brought for £9.99. (As our garden isn't big enough to have an oak tree grow in it without risking the roots causing damage to buildings, we weren't tempted by this offer.)
When we first arrived at the house, we were firstly greeted by ducks in the free car park, which is next to their pond. No doubt they were hoping we had a picnic to share. We met ...

into several districts:
South Beach
It is where the gorgeous, young sun-seekers head for the day relaxing on the miles and miles of glorious beach, and a night partying in the clubs. It is also home to the fabulous Art Deco distric, housing around 800 buildings, near Dade Blvd at the North & 6th Street at the South.
Miami Beach
Just north of South beach on another 'island' Miami Beach is a more affordable place to stay. Like South Beach, it is home to plenty of bars and clubs on Collins Avenue and Washington Avenue. It is also famous for the Bal Harbour Shopping mall.
Coconut Grove
A trendy area for that attracts many artists, it is also home to golf courses and upscale restaurants.
Southern Miami/Dade County
This is where you will find many of the city's attractions, such as the zoo, and the aquarium. A great place ...
