The HotelRoyal Kenz in the Resort of Port El Kantaoui in Tunisia was recently my Home for 7 nights between the 2nd and 9th July 2006. The Holiday itself was a last minute booking but the Girl at the Travel Agent's said that She had stayed at this Hotel and that it was superb.
The price for the total package, including Flights and transfers was incredibly cheap at just under £200 Half Board for 7 nights and so the booking was made.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
I had seen a picture of the Hotel in the Brochure so I knew that this was one of the largest Hotels in the Resort with 405 Rooms. I also knew that it had only three Floors and that it was therefore spread out over quite a wide area within its own Grounds.
On arriving in the Resort the first point to note was that the Hotel was quite a distance from the main hub of the Resort ...
Advantages: great location, cheap, nice rooms, excellent food Disadvantages: no parking, quite dated
Introduction to the hotel:
The Royal Albion Hotel was built in 1826 and is situated in a fantastic location opposite Brighton pier. It is a three star hotel and has 186 guest rooms offering views of Brighton beach or the town centre.
My experience of the hotel:
I spent one night in the hotel in January of this year and for a three star hotel I was quite impressed. I and my girlfriend booked a double room for £55 and it was a spacious room with a four poster bed, couch, satellite television, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and a lovely modern bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath. When we checked in the hotel staff asked us if we would like to upgrade to a room with a Jacuzzi batch for £10, we said no, but were a bit intrigued to find one anyways - they had obviously given our room away and were trying to get the extra £10 out ...
Advantages: Great Service, Hotel Bus, Great customer Service, Well Priced Disadvantages: Only small disadvantages but nothing to stop you coming here.

Cairns is one of those places that you will always remember, but thats another review in itself.
PalmRoyale in Cairns is a good resort offering a lovely setting and great and close amenities.
It offers very spacious rooms not done out to the best but slight 80's feel.
The exterior of the hotel, you could imagine it to of once been a very prestigious hotel and it still is highly seen as that but needs a slight revamp to general things like Paint work etc..
There are two pools beautiful one with lengths and one with a slightly oriental feel with a pool temperature jacuzzi towering above ...
