The pool is a good extra, but is too small to be meaningful. In the end the only thing which makes the Crowne PLaza stand out is the location. You don't get much more convenient than this. Located on the Royal Mile, it's only a 5 min walk to the Castle and 10 mins to Princes Street. However, even the location doesn't justify a price of £130 per nigt for a single room. In my view this hotel is only good for the business traveller, and even they should be able to fnd somewhere better....

Booking a hotel in New York can be a somewhat bewildering experience - there is far too much choice! This can be a burden -your choice of hotel can make or break a holiday and with such a wonderful city as New York, it becomes even more important.
We more
