I stayed two nights here in March after booking cheaply on the internet looking for a little luxury to rest on my rtw trip after a couple of months away before heading onto China.
The reception is huge with a big spiral staircase next to reception. The staff on reception where very friendly and helpful. I was surprised actually as I arrived with a rucksack on my back and probably looking a mess after being up at 4am to travel to Singapore from Bali via Java!
The room as well was extremely clean with two big double beds, a desk to work on if I wanted to, a big wall cabinet hiding the satellite tv, a free mini bar that had a couple of cans of Tiget beer, 2 cans of fruit juice and two cans of pop. This was replenished the next day free of charge if it had been used.
The bathroom was massive also with all marble flooring and fittings with a bath/shower also.
Being in the process of travelling at the time I wanted to use the internet. There was free internet in the room provided you had your own computer. If not, then they had a business centre in the hotel where you could use the internet but this was very expensive at about £5 per hour.
It was an excellent base from which to see Singapore located just 100 yards from Orchard Road with all the shops and the same distance from the metro station from where you could travel to any part of Singapore including the airport.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.
