Advantages: Great value Disadvantages: No alcohol, but you can take your own in Business Class
...I was interested to read other opinions on Royal Brunei Airlines and thought that I would add mine as I was most impressed by them. I was due to fly to Oz from London in April and having travelled economy Down Under previously I said to myself never again! I decided to treat myself for once and set about searching for a good value business class flight on the net and found Royal Brunei. As business class to Australia can be anything from £3000 upwards the cost of the return flight at £1600 seemed to be a bargain. I didn't really know what to expect , having never flown business in my life but can honestly say it was the best money I have ever spent on air travel. Firstly one can check in without having to queue, then one can relax in a comfortable, peaceful business departure lounge where food, drink are on tap and someone comes...

Advantages: Cheap cost Disadvantages: Entertainment facilities could be better
...Royal Brunei Airlines is really a little local airline serving the country of Brunei but with an ever expanding global service. The Brunei - Dubai - London route must be one of its most popular international route with departures once every day of the week. In addition to that it is also one of the cheapest of its kind of flight to the region compared to Singapore Airlines, Malaysian Airlines, Thai Airlines and British Airways. Moreover en route to Brunei, passengers have the opportunity to transit in Singapore (and maybe to Malaysia from Singapore). The on-flight and ground crew service is second to none. However on the down side, having been flying RBA for six years now, I have noticed that the facilities on board, including seat covers and movie projection-style entertainment hasn't changed at all. Unlike Singapore Airlines...

Advantages: flying Disadvantages: not very comfortable
...I went on Royal Brunei Airlines flying from London to dubai. At least I thought that I was going to Dubai instead they told us just before we left that we would be going to Abu Dhabi instead, this was to do with Royal Brunei. I did not really find the trip that enjoyable because the seats were not very comfortable and the films were a bit boring. The best part of the trip was the song that they sing every twenty minutes, it comes up on the screen singing " Royal Brunei offers Asia's best . . ." It is very funny but it can get a bit repetitive. The actual flying part of it, I have no complaints about. It was very enjoyable. Its most popular route is to Dubai and it is increasing in popularity....

Paul McCartney was absolutely determined when the Beatles broke up and went their very separate ways that he would not become the big star, trading on his history for his success. He could have capitalised easily on the fame of being a former Beatle and more
