Rwanda My Favourite African Country

Advantages: Peaceful beautiful place unspoilt by tourists
Disadvantages: Not easy to get to

I have lived in Rwanda for about a year and despite negative media comments it really is such a beautiful and peaceful place. I often walk the streets of Kigali the capital at night without fear of mugging. The main hotels are expensive but there are many other hotels at reasonable rates. Lake Kivu is simply breathtaking. Orphaned children - AIDS infected women and no men

Advantages: your money could help those in need
Disadvantages: they need it desperately - to prolong lives and help orphans to survive

Right, well, this is not really an opinion about Rwanda – I have never been there.
