This is an airline really worth considering if you are looking for a budget trip to Ireland or mainland Europe. I flew with them from London Stansted to Dinard in France for the unbelievable price of just £1.50 each way plus tax.

I was perhaps a bit apprehensive about what I was going to get for the price of a few Mars bars, however I needn't have worried at all. From the moment I first logged on to their website until the minute I returned back to the UK after my holiday, the service was fantastic.

The website is extremely easy to use and will always offer you a range of fares, especially if you are flexible about the date and time you can travel. Once you have chosen your flights, the proceedure for purchasing them is very straight forward. The company does not use tickets; instead you just print the confirmation page or note your booking number and that's it.

The staff at the check-in desks at the airport were friendly and helpful. However seats were not allocated at this point, you just picked one when you got on the plane. This was fine for our flight as it was pretty empty, however I imagine at busier times this might be a bit of a scramble at the departure gate.

For both the inward and outward flights, there were no delays at all. The aircraft itself was clean and well-furnished. As this is a budget airline, food is not included in the price of your ticket, but as the flight lasted less than an hour this didn't bother me. However, if you do get peckish, sandwiches are on sale alongside a range of other products such as perfumes and the usual.

Should I be looking to make a similar trip to Europe in the future, I shall certainly use Ryanair again. You've really got nothing to lose but a lot to gain.
