I have flown Ryanair on many occasions and always found them to be reliable, to interesting destinations and of course, great value. When I flew to Perpignan, the flight departed both destinations to the exact minute. We also managed to arrive half an hour before schedule on each leg! If you are not stringent with your departure dates and book last minute, you can find flights for as little as £2 each way! This price does not inlude taxes which normally average £20 but you will still be getting a fantastic deal. You have to pay for in flight food and drinks but as the journeys are not too long, you can either wait or take a drink/snack in your hand luggage.

All I can say is get looking, and get booking for your next short break away!

21/9/01: latest update. I just have to share this with you - I have just booked 2 flights to Salzburg with Ryanair for a weeks holiday. I booked from a Wednesday to a Wednesday to fly next month (October). You will not believe it but I paid 2 pence for each leg of the flight. This totals 8 pence. 8p!!! When the taxes are added on, it makes 2 return flights to Salzburg £44!! It just goes to show, that if you look, bargains can be found. I will recommend to hold on when deciding to book a flight. It seems that if you wait until 3 weeks before (if you're prepared to take the risk), they will sell off the seats for crazy prices.
