Having found first hand that Ryanair operates in complete violation of regulations, I will never fly with them again.
Our flight was "delayed" from 22.25 to 11.15 the next day. Not a single member of staff was here to provide assistance. All passengers were simply abandonned past midnight in an empty airport with no information or instruction whatsoever. Good luck finding a taxi and a hotel in Treviso airport at one in the morning hours after the last flight...
Ryanair failed to provide any assistance whatsoever: they simply left hundreds of people stranded. This is a complete violation of the EU Directive.
In addition, they claim that rescheduling the flight to the next day is a "delay", not a cancellation (which affects your rights under the directive).
Ryanair operates in violation of the law and should be avoided at any cost.
