1. What….? Have you ever heard about Sikuai Island? Never..? Let’s me introduce you to Sikuai Island, it has a great view of beach that still natural with sand as white as show, blue sea, nice corals, coconut trees along the beach and all fascinated ecosystem. It has 38.6 kilometers square or 40 hectare wide. Now, Sikuai Island is growing become one of considered superior tourism destination. Because all around the island are still natural, we can really feel close to the nature and amazing experience.
2. Where….? Sikuai Island is one of 19 islands on Padang City. Padang City is a capital city of West Sumatra Province, Indonesia. Once you arrived to Padang City, just go to Bungus Teluk Kabung district.
3. When….? In my opinion you can visit this island any times in any season, because Indonesia has a tropical season. But because Padang was hit by earthquakes at last September 2009, maybe the conditions the entire city isn’t safe yet. I believed that next year Pandang will be a great city to visit, specially the journey to Sikuai Island.
4. Why…? I think that Sikuai Island will be a fantastic place to visit. There, you can travel a round the island on foot or by bicycle, it’s just take 45 minutes. And also swimming and snorkeling in order to see under water life. The sunset is wonderful; you don’t want to miss that moment, do you? It also has 52 bungalows.
5. How…? To reach Sikuai Island, all you got to do is go to Padang City, then from Bungus Teluk Kabung district you can use speed boar to that island, it takes 40 minutes.
