Wii is one of the greatest games consoles that I have ever purchased and I absolutely love all of the games that I have played on it to date.
Wii Family Ski is a game that up to five people can play and requires the Wii Fit to be able to play. It took me a while to find the Wii Fit or as it is also known the balance board but I kept on searching and got there in the end.
Wii Family Ski lets you create a character from scratch or you can import your Mii character too whilst selecting different ski gear for your character. You need to use the Nunchuck and Remote in your hands to use as ski poles and step on the Wii Board to really take advantage of this great game. The Wii Board takes over to allow the player to turn whilst skiing by measuring the swaying and leaning of the body.

You *have* to put your coat/jacket in the cloak room, which is £1 per item.
In the entrance to the club, there's a gaming area with fruit machines and ski-ing/driving games, as well as a small fast food restaurant.
You have to climb a set of stairs to enter the club, so I don't think the club is accessible to people in wheelchairs.
The club, surprisingly, is Dome shaped, with 3 different levels. The dance floor is quite big, with 2 raised podiums. Sometimes you can get away with climbing up into these and having a boogie, other times the bouncers ask you to get down. Some nights they have professional dancers in skimpy clothing dancing on the podiums.
There's lots of toilets, on each level, although by midnight they are usually semi minging, with queues and no loo paper left. The same as any club really, and I have ...

Advantages: Good fun Disadvantages: Quite expensive
from where I live. One day last year I accompanied them on a visit here, initially as a spectator, only to return a few weeks later as a fully participating visitor.
The Sheffield Ski Village is the largest artificial outdoor ski slope in Europe and opened in 2001. Unlike places like Xscape at Milton Keynes and Castleford, and the SkiDome at Tamworth this does not have real artificially created snow but instead its slopes are covered in a special kind of matting that is sprayed with water to make it glisten like ice. This matting is very slippery and I am told by my friends that it is very similar to skiing on real snow, although visually it looks nothing like the real thing.
