Safari Beach Hotel, Nuweiba

Advantages: Large hotel, Good local amenities
Disadvantages: Beach erosion...

...I've stayed at the Senegambia Beach Hotel twice now. Would I recommend it then? Set in 25 acres of landscaped Well lets start by going back to 1993 in September... I found the whole experience to be great in a hotel in Africa..wow... Basic ammenities, simple furnishings in room and maid cleaned it everyday...clean towels and bed making...great...The room was for sleeping with no real attraction, bathroom with tiled floor into an area with a shower.. Shower was at times cool, not exactly cold but not piping hot either and pressure was well okay, you are in Africa after all. Bed had no bugs I could see and although I only saw ants in the room on the last day as I dropped some chocolate on the floor and left it there by accident...The ants came in and collected it and carried it straight home... ...Its funny, you wouldn't think that this hotel has this reputation- but it does. Out of all the hilton hotels in the world,Coral hilton @ Nuweiba is the one that has the most returns to! Its 1/2 way between Taba/Sharm on the Aqaba cost. Overlooking a private beach on the red sea. The hotel is 4* AI with recently refurbished rooms. With the Sinai mountains behind you, and looking at the mountains of Saudi across the red sea, its a wonderful & beautiful location to wake up in with wonderful sunrises & sunsets. The staff are all wonderful/friendly and work VERY HARD. The hotel is very clean and the food is excellent. You can actually eat from 6am till 10pm every day!! ...salon, currency exchange, gift shop, childrens club, room service, casino, health spa, a large swimming pool, tennis, hot tub and a fishing pool for the children...Plus more! The hotel is surrounded by lovely, well kept gardens which was really nice and something a little different.. The hotel organized various day trips such as dolphin watching, fishing, safari and other boat trips which were easy to arrange and fairly cheap to do. The food was very nice and always fresh, the breakfast was especially good and the bacon and sausages tasted just like back home and were very good quality, they even had all the Heinz sauces which was nice, there was a buffet resturaunt and bisto and there was two bars serving a good selection on alcholic and non alcoholic drinks.
