Advantages: Beautiful, Gorgeous, sunny, nice weather, exotic cuisine Disadvantages: can be pricy
.... To accompany it there will of course be good French wine or Champagne!
Just Walking beside the beach along the Promenade de Anglais is an wonderful experience. Or just take sun bath in the beautiful beach. If you feel more active and energetic, then there are plenty of things to do; staring from surfing, water scootering, canoeing, parachute diving etc. etc.
You can also go on trekking or hiking in the olive and pine covered Alps.
There are many other places to visit on day trips...all along the beautiful mediterinian coast. You can either visit glamorous Monaco, Menton and Cannes, Saint Tropaz. Or can visit less known but more exquisitely beautiful places like Beaulieu, Villefranche, Saint Raphael. All this places are reachable within an hour drive. They are also connected to Nice by frequent trains and buses.
There are plenty...

...A review of Nice Airport:
If you’re feeling a bit adventurous, and renting a car won’t quite hit the spot, then why not charter your own helicopter?
I was surprised to see a helicopter desk opposite the six car rental desks on offer, but was suitably impressed. Flights can be had to Saint Tropez, Cannes, Monaco or charter one and choose your own destination.
And so, this was the initial sight that greeted me when I flew into Nice a couple of weeks ago from Leeds & Bradford Airport. Nice Airport is modern and clean. It has two terminals and the usual selection of places to eat, drink, shop and powder your nose (as I was not a Ciao member at the time of this hols I did not take notice of the disabled facilites. Tsk! I shall have to back and check!). On the return journey, some of the shops did not open until 10am, which...

Advantages: beautiful architecture and atmosphere Disadvantages: why should it have any! well, kinda expensive to hang around
...Le Mont Saint-Michel
The abbey at Mont Saint-Michel has been one of my dream-destinations to visit since, well, literary ages! This is how the story of my addiction started: Back in 1996 I have got a little pocket calendar with a beautiful cathedral on the front, I have fallen in love with it the moment I laid my eyes on it for the first time! However, the photo bore no description and even if I really did try, I was never able to find out what and where the place was....imagine my frustration as I'm a keen traveler and photographer! I've kept the little picture and every now and then it tortured my mind again. However, I have to say back then I had a strong suspection that it would be someplace in France as you can't iss the resemblance of French architecture. The redemption came in 2006 when my girlfriend told me we were going...

I’ve just returned from a holiday in Nice, where there’s approximately 300 days of sunshine a year, there are French women sunbathing topless on the beach, and you can dunk your baguette in your coffee and just sit back and watch the world go by. I went more
I am a big fan of Saint Seiya anime and still waiting for the last 2 chapters of the last series. Being a fan of the anime, I can say this game has a good representative of the anime. First of all it's a fighting game, not an adventure or RPG game. Not... more
