...were not guest at the hotel acting very suspiciously. On further inspection someone noticed they were taking photographs of the children from under the table. When approach the woman ran away but the man was restrained by guests. He explained he was taking photos of little blonde girls as they reminded him of his grand daughter, the police were called & they asked the woman to return with the camera. ...We all asked the following questions, Why run in the first place? Why take two hours to return? Why did her partner admit to photographing children? The police said they had no evidence so they couldn't act, she walked away laughing & blowing kisses to the worried parents In short if you only need a couple of hours sleep each night, would like to each chips every day of two weeks & don't mind having your children photographed by total strangers ... Disadvantages: A big, busy resort

In August of this year my hubby and our son (14) and daughter (9) stayed in Salou for 2 weeks. We stayed in the Albatros Apartments, which were situated on a bit of a hill about 10 minutes walk from the main strip. We liked the situation of these apartments as Salou is quite a hussley bussely place and quite noisy at night time, but where we were was fairly quiet. The flight from Glasgow only took 2 1/2 hours and the coach journey from Reus Airport ...
...time was great. Check in was also very quick, there were quite a few people who arrived at the same time as us, but there were 4 or 5 receptionists doing check in. When we booked we probably left it a little late and could only get a studio apartment for the 4 of us so we were a bit concerned about the size. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. Advantages: Cheap and adequate
Disadvantages: By noisy trains and some distance from the resort centre

I stayed in this apartment block last year. The apartment was clean and adequately equipped and there is a small shop on site which is rather expensive. The reception staff always seem too busy and you have to queue a while if you need anything. The block is situated by a busy train line and the trains are noisy throughout the night. It is also a fair walk into the resort centre or to the beach although local taxis are quite cheap. There is a decent ... Read review

Advantages: on the beach
Disadvantages: set on very steep hill, not good for wheelchair users

...our balcony, lovely views. The hotel is right on the beach and has it's own private beach, which is quite small really but a huge public beach is just around the back of the hotel. The food was quite good, there is a house chef who has a dish of the day which he cooks in the restaurant rather that in the kitchen, well it isn't really a "dish" it's usually a meat, eg, steaks etc. The only downside that I found with this holdiay was the entertainment, ... Disadvantages: Paper thin walls, gym and sauna located in another hotel
