The SunClub was very nice and had the added convenience of a supermarket (has most neccessary items) onsite, which we utilised for fresh bread and croissants every morning. Breakfast and all meals could also be purchased in the restaurant area, although we only availed of one meal there on our last morning. It was good value! We always ordered 2 white coffees(every morning) at the bar and took them to our balcony (good size overlooking pool) as accompaniment to the croissants.
Pool area was very nice and clean, but a bit cold due to being in the shade of the hotel for most of the day. There was a lifeguard on duty while the pool was open.
Sleeping was great..no noise hardly after midnight. On the buses, the experience was quite good, although they do tend to go pretty fast and is nearly always somebody on them busking (this did make the journey go quick and was worth 1 euro)
The beach (a cove) was just a short walk down the hill at the CALAFONT which was really nice and safe and the Med waters were fairly clear and warm. Cap Salou is nicely situated between Salou proper (5 minutes by bus) and La Pineda (5 minutes). Aquapolis water park is a must, as well as the Universal theme park of Port Adventura (stay till midnight to catch the fireworks and laser light show).
Cambrils is wonderful for shopping, beachfront and eating seafood(a bit pricey though). Boat/catamaran trips leave from here. A day trip to Tarragona (25 min)is well worth it for those into Roman history. Nice also for shopping and relaxing along the tree-lined main street Ramblas Nova leading to the Mediterranean Wall.
Downsides to SunClub- electric hob took forever to heat kettle (need to turn it on at 5am). Better off bringing an electric kettle to heat water. Nightly entertainment in SunClub seriously lacking... Entertainment was great next door at the Mediterranean Village, which lasted till midnight. Local public transport was excellent and got you to everywhere you might wish to visit. Overall, SunClub was very good and so were the Reps.

We propose some unforgettable holidays in "El Capistrano Villages", in Nerja, the privileged balcony of the Costa del Sol. "El Capistrano Villages" is, possibly, the most beautiful and exclusive Urbanisation on the Costa del Sol.
