The room was very comfortable and the staff extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a fantastic meal one evening in the restaurant - compliments to the chef. We have only ever seen food prepared that looked anything like we had the pleasure of eating, and that was on TV but to eat it as well was something ... more
Today we (regrettably) returned to London from our very enjoyable stay at Sampsons Farn Country Hotel. We loved the setting - wonderful walks and great locaion. The room was very comfortable and the staff extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a fantastic meal one evening in the restaurant - compliments to the chef. We have only ever seen food prepared that looked anything like we had the pleasure of eating, and that was on TV but to eat it as well was something we shall remember forever. It was fabulous. Very tasty - cooked to perfection and served by friendly, smiling staff. We loved the friendly atmosphere and will definitely be returning and recommending Sampsons to all of our fiends and family. Infact we found nothing at all to fault about Sampsons!
