If you want something that's going to last you forever and if you want to get quality luggage, go for SAMSONITE. You may be thinking that you are going to be spending a bomb on something that is totally uneccessary a total peripheral to your travels but let me tell you that investing in a samsonite is going to save you more moeny than you think. I was totally disgusted. What the samosonait has done for me is been loyal in not falling apart at times when I needed it most. It has been through the most horrendous of stuations and has proed to be all it really is, even on the commercials which have a tendency to over exaggerate the truths. Samsonite Starwalker
Cheap very thin plastic shell, no security (all round zipper with 3 digit combo lock) very flexable. Fabric zip cover bound to get caught on baggage handling equipment.
Costs way too much (far more than Delsey), looks just like the stuff they sell in Woolworths at £20 for a set. Do you realy want to look this common and have luggage thats almost certain to fail quickly.
If you travel occasionaly and then by car/coach its probably ... ...not intended for you, its way too fragile and thin to stand any chance of stsnding up to any significant amount of wear. The whole thing just screams cheap, tatty and downmarket, the biggest suprise is the cost, its truly eye watering.
There should be an option to give no stars, a 1 star rating is way too high for this. One to avoid. ...

Advantages: I want to narrow down the best options for suitcases out there Disadvantages: This review may seem a bit brand bias. What I have to say is based purely on experience.
As a busy business woman frequently travelling,
spending days, sometimes months, living out of a suitcase, I have come to rely on the importance of good travel baggage. I want to make this review to the point. High priced,designer,leather luggage looks beautiful but that it all it is good for, to be admired. Never attempt to put it through luggage check in for a long haul. The same goes for material cases, even the more pricey ones will maybe give ... ...lose structure.
Nothing quite stands up to hard plastic cases. Plastic cases really have come a long way and I recommend anything to come out of Japan or Korea as the leaders in design. If you are ever in those countries, I recommend you take a look at the local business man's luggage and you will see what I mean.

I bought a 4-wheel trolley Samsonite Nozomi four years ago. First, when packed, it tended to fell over. Although I did not travel a lot, the first wheel broke soon and was replaced. To all potential buyers of Samsonite Suitcases I purchased two Samsonite hard shell Suitcases aprox two years agoe they were damaged by the airline .They were sent back three times to samsonite repair dept ,To cut a long story short I was told airline damage was not covered by guarantee , I only brought Samsonite suitcases because I thought they were the strongest .Iwas told by Samsonite repair dept that if I wanted guaranteed suitcasesror airline ...

...work and have an old Samsonite suitcase (hard back, soft front) which I happily used for 5 hard years. The quality of the old suitcase was great so I automatically went to Samsonite to purchase a new bag. They use to be very well made (strong zippers, high quality fabrics) but the overall product has greatly deteriorated since the last time I purchased a bag. Advantages: Cheap (by Parisian standards), location not bad, quiet and safe area Disadvantages: Tiny room, bed a bit worn out, cold bathroom
- pretty small but with a few chairs; a PC, where we could get access to the internet (cost about 6 ? for 30 minutes); and a vending machine with sodas, water, chocolate etc. The staff was helpful and we were able to communicate with them in English.
The elevator in the hotel really is tiny. When we arrived we had two Samsonitesuitcases of average size and there was only room for Nikki and the two suitcases in the lift?I had to use the stairs :-)
The room
The room itself was as expected: a small room with a big bed and a small TV mounted on the wall, a small desk and a small wardrobe with 3-4 hangers. The room was carpeted with light painted walls. The TV had a few channels but most of them were French, Italian, German etc. and a couple of English channels like the BBC. The bed felt a bit worn out but it was at least on the softer ...
Advantages: Exotic for people from the west, it is a very safe place, toilets :-) Disadvantages: Expensive accommodation, language barrier can cause problems, a bit crowded
ways to get from the airport to the city. We decided to go for the Narita Express. In retrospect it would probably been easier to take the Airport Limousine Bus but hey?why make it easy when you can make it hard :-) We bought the tickets for 2950 ¥ and made our way to the train station under the airport and soon we started the 50 minute ride into Tokyo. When the train rolled out of the station the weather was nice and out of the window we could see rice paddies. But it didn't take long before we came into the outskirts of Tokyo. We ended up at the HUGE Tokyo train station and we connected here to catch the subway to get to Akasaka-Mitsuke. Trying to walk through the Tokyo station, find the right line, finding out how to pay etc?and dragging along two huge Samsonitesuitcases was quite an extreme sport and it's easy to get stressed out.
