I travel a great deal for work and have an old Samsonite suitcase (hard back, soft front) which I happily used for 5 hard years. The quality of the old suitcase was great so I automatically went to Samsonite to purchase a new bag. They use to be very well made (strong zippers, high quality fabrics) but the overall product has greatly deteriorated since the last time I purchased a bag. My "new" $300 Samsonite suitcase has zippers that jam, a broken handle (happened 3 weeks after purchase), fabric that stains easily... and to make matters worse, poor customer service (rude and unprofessional). Unfortunately, they will not allow me to return the case so I am stuck with an unusable product. Buyer beware... Samsonite has gone down hill.
