...Its now possible to buy direct international flights to KoSamui but mostly only from other asian countries flying with Bangkok Airways. For a trip from europe its easier to go direct to Phuket or Bangkok and then buy an onwards Bangkok Airways flight to Samui Airport. This the most comfortable option but also the most expensive.
Overnight trains are OK, cheap and functional but you have to sleep. If you make too much noise the locals get very angry.
There are various bus/ferry combo tickets which are by far the cheapest option but also are definately the most uncomfortable (especially the overcrowded minibuses) and are regularily involved in accidents. Remeber never to eat or drink anything offered to you by strangers on a bus or train. Unfortunately many people have been drugged and robbed this way....

Advantages: Too many to mention, pure bliss!!! Disadvantages: None
...are always on hand to give towels or take drink or food orders.
The Mandarin Spa is fantastic, it is costly compared to the massages you can get on the beach but the surroundings are lovely. We received a free couples honeymoon massage which was excellent, we also had a Seaweed Wrap and traditional Thai Massage next to the pool we would highly recommend both.
There is also a library with Internet access which was very handy, there are also plenty of books that can be borrowed. The reception also hold a DVD collection that can be borrowed and suprisingly there was plenty to choose from.
The rooms were cleaned daily and when they were turned down in the evening, little food gifts were left on the bed which was a really nice touch.
All in all we had the best honeymoon ever and would recommend the hotel to everyone!...

...Is this near Rocky Resort, it is right? I am going to book using charity service Rocky ResortSamui do you know this? I am looking also for good restaurant nearby, can you help and tell me if any? Also to get to Chaweng is not a problem right? I thought I would stay at Rocky (I am photographer myself) and spend some evenings on the beach in CHawenbg as they are good I hear. I think Lamai itself is bad area yes? That is where the British girl got killed one Christmas; I do not want to go tthere. If you have any tips for good photo opportunities I also would like to hear from you; it is funny but I want to photograph Samui Airport quite a bit!

This is going to be a bit of an unusual review as I am writing about a hotel that I have never stayed at. I have never used the facilities - but I have experienced their customer service.
On the 4th October last year, my partner and I took a trip down more
