I visited San Antonio in November 1997 when I stayed with my Uncle in Fort Worth, near Dallas. It was very enjoyable, we visited the Alamo, which is the site of a famous battle, which was very interesting. We also visited an amazing shopping mall with a river running right through the middle of it! You could go for a ride on a narrowboat through an area which many Americans dubbed "Little Venice", as it has lots of nivce restaurants and was lit up to stunning effect at night. This shopping centre had lots of great shops and an IMAX cinema, which we visited, and it was great!
