belonged to the Pesaro family and was later bought by Mariano Fortuny. Today the palazzo also houses the Fortuny Museum which has many of the artist\'s works including his stunning lamps made of printed and painted fabric. One of Hotel San Giorgio\'s distinctive traits is its warm, family atmosphere. Its rooms still have that typical Venetian elegance seen in the stucco work, Venetian glass and garnet-red marble. To ensure the guests enjoy a truly unforgettable holiday and absorb the unique atmosphere of the city, our staff will be delighted to offer suggestions for a guided tour, to book tickets for a concert or a car for a sightseeing trip.

in Portofino. The hotel is a good example of the blend of ancient tradition, modern technology and high quality service. During the renovation of the hotel, dimensions and colours have been maintained - as well as the specific decorations of the typical (Ligurian) Riviera style. The simplicity and consistency of the slate which decorates the interior and exterior gives elegance and harmony to the house, which is located in a quiet and relaxing location in the shade of the trees between the mountain and the fishermen\'s houses. The hotel San Giorgio- a 4-star-hotel - is situated very close to the very well-known piazzetta (square) in Portofino. It has 18 rooms in total, each one of which is of a beautiful and refined standard of decoration.

Medici\'s Chapels and the Duomo, in the historical centre of Florence. The bedrooms have all been refurnished recently. As the hotel is part of an ancient building, the rooms are all slightly different in size and shape. They rooms are modern and simple but furnished in a good style. The reception area is simple but adequate. There is a lounge at one end of the lobby and a clean and tidy breakfast room at the other. This is a good standard hotel, in an excellent location.
Advantages: luxurious, inside town centre, myconian/aegean views, excelent service, friendly stuff Disadvantages: lots of rooms on the back with no views and too much traffic noise
...Although I've never stayed as a customer in Belvedere, I can easily give a review for this hotel as it's been lots of times that i visited friends who were staying there (and spent a couple of nights as a guest until I found a room for myself).
As you can see from my other reviews, for the past 14 years, i 've spent most of my holidays on mykonos island, I sometimes visit the island more than twice a year, so i think i can have a clear opinion about the most of its well known bussinesses.
Hotel Belvedere is a very well known bussiness in Mykonos. Most of the times you can meet celebrities staying there, as it offers stylish luxury and it is situated inside the town centre, in a small walking distance from the high standard bars clubs and restaurants.
It offers everything you could expect from a hotel in its category, minibar...

I apologize that I’ve putted my op about Mykonos under the section for general info about Greece, but I didn’t know that I could create a sub-category. Sorry again.
To call Mykonos a 'gay island' is like calling San Francisco a 'gay city'. Sure there are gay bars and homosexuality is not hidden, but unless you are looking for it you may not even notice it because above all, Mykonos is a destination for all types of people. From jet setters to college students and families, Mykonos is Greece's most...

...We stayed at the Chancellor Hotel by accident! We had hotel vouchers for our visit to San Francisco but the hotel we stayed in on our first night was so awful (and in one of the more dangerous areas of the city - we heard that the street on which it was situated had the highest murder rate in San Francisco!) that we decided to ring San Francisco Reservations, a hotel broker mentioned in our guide book. Hotel brokers basically rent out hotel rooms at short notice at lower than advertised prices. That is how we were able to stay in the Chancellor, which is a 3 star hotel, for $50 per night! According to the hotel's website, special room rates start at $125 per night, so we definitely got a good deal by going through San Francisco Reservations!
The Chancellor Hotel is right on Union Square in the centre of San Francisco and is convenient...
