Instead of doing the touristy San Telmo sunday fair, see this amazing neighborhood with someone who actually lives there!!!
I had the great fortune of finding CICERONES, a non-profit organization that matches visitors with local residents who volunteer with Cicerones as tour guides.
If you want a walking tour of San Telmo, or any neighborhood, just contact them on their website (www.cicerones.org.ar) and you will get matched up with a porteño (local Buenos Aires resident) who matches your interests. The guides are incredibly friendly, outgoing, and super knowledgeable!
Everyone knows the best way to get to know a city is to see it with someone who lives there. You not only get a more authentic view of Buenos Aires, learning about the city's hidden treasures, but you also get a completely personalized tour.
It´s also FREE! Because it is a non-profit the guides are volunteers and the service is completely free.

Welcome to Ciao! A bit more info about the walk and the area would get higher rates.

Welcome to Ciao, sorry about the low rate but a lot more information is required for the higher rates. If you edit it let me know and I'll re-rate for you. :-)

Advantages: Beautiful cemetery. Key place to visit in Buenos Aires Disadvantages: Not great if you do not like Cemeteries. Public transport access is not great
