Visited Feb 2007. 4 of us. for a holiday and wedding. Was a bit worried after reading some revues but everything was fine. the food was fantastic - never had a bad meal, in fact in Baccarat one of the best meals we've ever had. Bit of a pain having to book some restaurants but we did not have a problem getting in. Unfortunately the "Cricketers" pub was closed for refurbishment which was a shame and not keen on the piano bar (no atmosphere) but this did not stop our fun. The entertainment girls were great especially enjoyed the 70s night ! The free wedding was really good and they went to a lot of trouble, we got married on the pier & it was lovely, we did not go for any of the optional extras but didn't need to as the basic package offered everything we wanted. Although the flight from London is 10 hours thankfully only 15 mins from airport yet no airfcraft noise in resort. The two main pools are huge but were a bit cold which did put some people off but more room for the rest of us brave ones (OK once you got in). Sea nice and warmer. Island was lovely and hardly anyone there. Rooms were nice but a bit exaggerated in hotel descriptions. Paid a lot for what we got - was expecting better. Only other niggle was there were a lot of people from one company there on some sort of convention booking which is not really what Sandals should be about (romantic getaway ?) . Anyway we had a really good time and all enjoyed oursleves.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
Sorry for the low rating. If you wanted higher ratings then you need to say more. What were the rooms like? What was the food like? My advice would be to read around other hotel reviews and you'll see what is needed for higher ratings. If you edit this in any way let me know via my guestbook and I'll happily re-read it for you.

Along with abcdefg I agree, you need to add far more detail.
