Santa Croce in Fossabanda is characterized by great hospitality. The building dates from the 14th century and is located in Pisa not far from the Leaning Tower and near to the Congress Palace. The particular works of restoration and the furnishing create an evocative and pleasant atmosphere. Santa Croce in Fossabanda has spacious rooms and may receive groups, offering also the possibility to use conference halls, as well as other rooms for exhibitions and cultural activities. The centre can also take care of small buffets for meetings or parties. The hotel has been transformed from an ancient monastery of XII century and preserves, after excellent restoration works, most of its original features. The main building is square shaped and has an internal garden. Corridors go alongside the garden and the building and give access to the rooms. There is also an annex, connected to the main building, where some rooms of same standards are. The building is on 2 floors only.
Advantages: full of culture Disadvantages: queues for some places, tiring but understandable
..., but it is worth it as David is, well, colossal!
Unsurprisingly, there are many churches in Florence worth visiting, most notably the Duomo and SantaCroce. Michaelangelo, Machiavelli and Galileo are buried in the SantaCroce, and these two chirches are unmissable! I wont bore you with a load of cliches, but remember , if you do visit, be sure to cover your arms and legs up or you will be refused entry!
If you have the time, try and see the leaning tower of Pisa. as I explained earlier, Pisa is an hour away by train and the service is regular. You will not believe how far the tower leans, it looks like it is about to topple over at any moment!
You can read about all else that Florence has to offer in any guide book, so I won't reiterate on what you might have already read. Ill just tell you that I found the city easy to navigate, the women are friendly...

Advantages: A really little jewel you can't miss... Disadvantages: The most important part of it it's his exterior view
...All of the people in the world has already name Pisa because of the tower. Not so many people knows the other interesting things Pisa has to offer.
It is a mix of various architectural styles grown up as time passed by.
I live there, so before I start with my review about the church, I just may give you some suggestions in the case you'd like to visit Pisa.
My first thought about Pisa was that I didn't like it a lot. A quite calm city to live, but not so typical, very different to my born city. However my opinion has changed in this three years I spent in this place.
Its main buildings were started in the medieval age and some in the Renaissance.
Campo dei miracoli and S. Maria della Spina are middle age oriented, also if with a lot of Arabic influences.
It hosted a lot of famous personalities: it's Galileo Galilei born city...

Advantages: Everything for a relaxed, away from it all break. Disadvantages: Not for small children or those with walking difficulties
...Where to start? Pisa airport where my wife and I landed on the start of our Tuscan adventure no frills quick baggage reclaim and out into the glorious sunshine. We decided to take a taxi to our destination instead of waiting for the service bus that runs regularly from Pisa to Lucca. Our driver was unfamiliar with the village of Santa Maria del Giudice, where our apartment was located, but he was friendly and helpful and finally got us there. The apartment was up a set of narrow stairs and on two levels, a kitchen, bathroom and small living room/bedroom with a double bedroom on the mezzanine above. Outside was a small terrace with a table and chairs that was sunlit throughout most of the day. Cozy, comfortable with all that was required to look after oneself. The village itself is just off the main road from Pisa to Lucca and boasts 3...
