The Palma de Mallorca Airport is the only one of ... ...hotels to choose from in Santa Ponsa as it is a resort frequented by many tourists - we personally stay in the Rey Don Jaime, an excellent hotel 3 minutes walk from the beach - but there are, like I said, many all with different 'ranges' of customers. Our hotel is 3/4* (we aren't quite sure) and costs around £20 per person per night.

...and 5 years old) selected Santa Ponsa for our holidays in May 2001. We stayed at the Hotel Pionero on a half board basis - the hotel was clean, comfortable, had excellent facilities (there are 3 sister hotels all adjoining), with very friendly staff. The weather for our two weeks was wonderful - hot without being too uncomfortable - the only rain was on our last day!
We were situated about 3 minutes walk from the main beach and about 5 minutes walk ... ...Sun) said!. I found Santa Ponsa to be a clean, tidy and compact resort - it has something for everybody! (Although I can't comment on the clubs!). There are plenty of bars, pubs, restaurants etc and a good selection of jewellers and perfumeries.
Public transport and taxis was cheap and plentiful (about £5 to Magaluf and a bit more to Palma Nova). The beach was sand and very clean and the sea was gently sloping - great for young kids. We found that ...

...I thought that the Vista Club was an excellent apartment to stay in. We had a large kitchen with all the kitchen utensils needed including a kettle, fridge, microwave and 2 hobs for cooking food on, balcony looking over the sea, kitchen eating area, living area, reasonable sized bathroom and large bedroom.
The entertainment manager Jim was first class. He puts so much work into his job. He always has time to speak to everyone. Each night the Vista Club has different activities for the family.
SantaPonsa has excellent restaurants including Granny's and Mrs. Murphy's Kitchen. Granny's chocolate cake is heavenly.
The night life is class; Appy Days is the place to be followed by Strings.....free shots as soon as u go in. Amazing.
I would recommend the Vista Club to anyone wishing to go to santaponsa. Apart from the 176...

...In a previous op about Spanish steps I inferred, no I actually said I would write one about my accommodation in SantaPonsa. It has taken me more than 1 month to get around to actually writing this opinion, OK who said nothing unusual about that for you Peter, but I really didn’t want over react in my condemnation of ………

I know its not even remotely Christmas, but I saw this wrapping paper on the Lego website and couldn't resist getting it so I would definitely have some to wrap my Christmas presents in this year so that they look super cool! I am usually quite good with more
I booked this hotel through Octopustravel and with the intention that it would be easy to get to and from the airport and it would be easy to get to the town from the hotel without much hassle. Both turned out to be very true.
